After entry, ensure the gate is locked behind you. The only time the gate may remain unlocked is when club-managed shoots are underway.

Proceed to the either range 5 or 6 and sign in before any other activity. This is required to indicate your presence for insurance purposes and may be provided to the Provincial CFO if requested for evidence of usage.

Using The Range
The safety rules and general facility procedures (Appendix A and Bmust be followed any time you are on the facility.
Select the appropriate range for your use. See Appendix C for each range’s approved usage. Do not use any firearm or calibre other than the approved for that range.

When more than one person is on the shooting line, then an Acting Range Officer must be nominated. See Appendix D for details.
Each range has two flags. The red flag must be hung when the range is live and not safe to be entered. The green flag must be displayed when the range is in use but declared safe to go down for the purpose of hanging targets. No firearms may be handled at any time when the green flag is on display. Flags must be taken down when the range is not in use.

The range provides hanging rubber mats at varying distances for you to affix your own paper targets to, as well as hanging steel targets.
The targets and stands must not be moved. Props (barrels, walls, target stands, chairs, tables, pipes) are not to be used to hold targets and must not be shot at. No steel targets may be shot with center-fire rifle calibers at less than 100 meters.

After use, remove your brass and any garbage from the range floor. Please leave the range in better condition than you found it and it will be around for all to enjoy for many years.

The last person to exit the facility must drop the entrance sign to indicate the sign is no longer in use.
